LET GO OF THE BAGGAGE!

Let go of your thoughts on how your life will unfold,

As most interesting stories are those untold.

Let go of those who don’t cherish your life,

As your heart always deserves to thrive.

Let go of the negativity that has inflamed your brain,

As you'd never want to lose your aim.

Let it all go, and find a place for all peace and zeal.

Not because you need it but because your soul deserves to heal!

The trees show us how wonderful it is to let the dead things go. Letting go is really hard, especially when you have to let go of something you really want, whether it’s a great opportunity, someone you really liked or loved, or just any hopes you've had for something. It can also be painful as hell if it is not something that you’re ready to do particularly when your heart and mind are racing on two different tracks. The more you fight for something that isn't meant for you, the more it will fight you.

If we continue to cling on to toxic circumstances or to toxic people because we've already done too much, or it's too late to change anything, we're just setting ourselves up for a miserable life. There is power in letting go, a power that brings more harmony and serenity than being trapped in daily circumstances that make the heart a little heavier.

When you think about getting rid of negativity, you might start by trying to push those thoughts out of your mind. But stop and consider a different approach. Fighting against something usually takes a lot more effort than preventing a war in the first place. Instead of prying the negative thoughts out, you are acknowledging and releasing them. To let go does not mean to get rid of. To let go means to let be. Try not to wrestle them out of your mind, and simply learn to let them go on their way.

Think of it like being in a sinking boat. You know there is something you have to let go but you can't. You won't. If you're honest, you know you're carrying heavy dead weights. Your boat keeps sinking, and there's no way it's moving any closer to land, with all that weight on board.

We’re all here to grow and flourish and we all deserve happiness. Letting go of things that were once an important part of our life is painful, but nevertheless normal. None of us stays the same. We grow constantly. That doesn’t mean that everything in our lives will develop in the same direction or at the same pace.
