Afterlife

You were on your way home when you died.

It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal.

It was a painless death. The medics tried their best to save you but to no avail.

Your body was so utterly shattered, you were better off; trust me.

You landed somewhere and looked around. There was nothingness.

What is this place? Is this the afterlife?

What happens now? What awaits us? Heaven, Hell, or at least a Starbucks?

Neither. You will be reincarnated.

You strolled through the void.

When you are reborn, you will be a blank slate. All your experiences and everything you did in this life won’t matter. But it is not exactly so. You have, within you, the knowledge and experience of your past life. You just don’t remember them right now.

Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful and gigantic than you can imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger into a glass of water to see if it is hot or cold.

You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had.

You've been in a human for as long as you have lived, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If you have hung out here long enough, you will start remembering everything. But there is no point in doing that between each life.

“How many times have you been reincarnated then?”

Lots, and into lots of different lives

This time around you will be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 A.D.

You think that you are being sent back in time.

But time as you know it, only exists in your universe.

If you get reincarnated to other places in time, you could have interacted with yourself at some point. Happens all the time and with both lives only aware of their own lifespan, you don’t even know it’s happening.

What’s the point of this all?

The meaning of life, the reason this whole universe is made is for you to mature.

Just you. With each life, you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.

There is no one else . In this universe ,there’s just you.

All the people on earth are all you, different incarnations of you.

You are every human being who ever lived and who would ever live.

You are Hitler and you are the millions he killed.

You are Gandhi and Godse.

You are Jesus and everyone who followed him.

Every time you victimise someone, you are victimising yourself.

Every act of kindness you’ve done to yourself.

Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was or will be experienced by you.

You are still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.

We often think too highly of ourselves, bringing others down, demeaning and being cruel but at the end of each life, it all boils down to YOU.

When you do wrong to someone, you wrong yourself.

When you discriminate against someone, you exclude yourself.

When you hate, you reflect those negative feelings at yourself.
